This one-day retreat on the Sunshine Coast is designed to give veterinary professionals the space, the tools, and the community to reconnect with themselves and their career. Join us for a day of yoga, six hours of RACE-approved CPD workshops and guided meditation. Our workshops and seminars discuss a range of wellness topics including recognizing burnout, recovering from compassion fatigue, how to set boundaries, and applying mindfulness and meditation practices to day to day life in the clinic. Price is all inclusive of activities, morning tea, lunch and snacks, and a certificate detailing 6 hours of RACE approved continuing education.

Restoration Practices
Amongst the workshops we will have a morning yoga class, no experience necessary, to help get us in the flow. In the afternoon a veterinary specific guided meditation will help you reconnect with yourself and others.Continuing Education
6 hours of RACE-approved continuing education designed specifically to help improve well-being with in the veterinary profession.
We have interactive lectures and workshops focused on addressing burn out, overcoming imposter syndrome, finding balance at work and at home, improving communication skills and cultivating mindfulness. You will learn skills and tricks you can start using right away to help you find peace and purpose in vet med.
Yummy Food
We will have a few breaks through the day to enjoy morning tea, lunch and some snacks - because sometimes the best learning happens between lectures when get to know our colleagues and learn from them!

With a background as a traveling veterinarian, digital nomad and a certified meditation teacher, Dr. Sheddy brings a unique blend of knowledge and experiences to the veterinary community. Dr. Sheddy is dedicated to supporting veterinary professionals in finding their purpose and creating a fulfilling career.
