I hereby acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the Veterinary Wellness Retreat (hereinafter referred to as the "Retreat") organized by Vet Tails. In consideration for being permitted to participate in this Retreat, I agree to the following terms and conditions: 1. Assumption of Risks: I acknowledge that participating in activities offered during the Retreat, including but not limited to yoga, meditation, surf lessons, cacao ceremony, sound healing ceremony, nature walks, and visits to a wildlife rescue center, involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, property damage, and emotional distress. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in these activities. 2. Health and Fitness: I certify that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in the activities offered during the Retreat. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a healthcare professional prior to participating in any physical activities if I have any concerns about my health or fitness level. 3. Release of Liability: I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Vet Tails, its directors, employees, volunteers, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or illness that may be sustained by me during the Retreat, including but not limited to those arising from the negligence or gross negligence of Vet Tails or its representatives. 4. Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vet Tails, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives from any and all liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) incurred as a result of any claims or lawsuits brought against Vet Tails arising out of or related to my participation in the Retreat. 5. Media Release: I grant Vet Tails the irrevocable right and permission to use photographs, videos, or other recordings of me taken during the Retreat for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation to me. 6. Deposit: A $500 deposit is required upon registration to secure your spot at the retreat. This deposit is non-refundable. 7. Payment Deadline: 1/2 Payment must be made no later than 60 days prior to retreat start date. Full payment for the retreat must be made no later than 30 days prior to the retreat start date. Payments are non-refundable. 8. Program Changes: The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the retreat program, schedule, or venue if necessary, and will inform registered attendees of any such changes in a timely manner. 9. Code of Conduct: Attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards fellow participants, staff, and the retreat environment. Any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive may result in removal from the retreat without refund. 10: Attendees agree to inform Vet Tails as early as possible if they are no loner able to attend the retreat. Governing Law: This Liability Waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom and Costa Rica. I have carefully read and fully understand the contents of this Liability Waiver and the Terms and Conditions of attendance. I acknowledge that I am signing this document freely and voluntarily, and I intend it to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
